1 cup butter
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup sucanat or sugar
4 eggs
1 cup xylitol or sugar
4 T. whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup date sugar or other sweetener
1/2 tsp baking powder
7 T. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Make the base first. Cut together 1 cup butter, 2 cups flour, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 cup sucanat. Press into 9x12 pan. Bake 25 minutes on 325. Then make filling. Mix together 4 eggs, 2 cups sweetener, 4 T flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 7 T. lemon juice. Pour filling over cooked base. Return to oven and bake 30 min more at 325. Sprinkle with xylitol or powdered sugar.
