1 (8 oz.) sharp cheddar cheese
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cheese and butter should be at room temperature. Shredd cheese and mix well with butter. Add cayenne, sugar and salt. Stir in flour 1/2 at a time. Mix thoroughly. Pipe through cookie press or cake decorator using a star tip onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 80 finger-length straws. Store in an air tight container.
