1 1/2 lbs chicken cut into 1 1/2 in pieces
6 c chicken soup stock
3 slices ginger
1/4 c dried wood ear soaked
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 c sake or dry sherry
dash white pepper
1/3 c rice wine optional

Bring soup stock to a boil. Add remaining ingredients let cook 15 to 20 minutes.Serve
