4 qts. medium cucumbers, sliced
6 medium white onion, sliced
2 green peppers, chopped
3 cloves garlic (optional)
1/2 c. medium coarse salt
5 c. sugar
2 tsp. cloves
3 c. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. tumeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cukes, onions, peppers, garlic and salt. Cover with cracked ice. Let stand for 3 hours. Drain well. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over cukes. Heat all to a boiling point. Seal in jars. Should make 8 quarts.
