1 c soft shortening 1 1/2 c sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c sour milk 1 3/4 c flour 1 tsp soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2 c rolled oats 1 c chocolate chips
Mix thoroughly sortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in sour milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking pwder and salt. Add to mixture. Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 7 to 10 minutes
