1/2 lb. pork sausage
2 lbs. ground beef
3 tbsp. oil
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 c. water
2 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. oregano
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper
2 tsp. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 qt. cottage cheese
2 tbsp. chopped Italian parsley
Salt and pepper
1 lb. lasagna noodles
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage, ground beef, onion and garlic in oil. Add tomatoes tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, and seasonings. Simmer 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Cook noodles and drain. Beat eggs; add cottage cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Alternate noodles, cottage cheese mixture, shredded cheese and sauce in a 9 x 13 in. pan. End with sauce and grated cheese. Bake in preheated 350º oven for 1 hour.
