1/2 -3/4 lb. smoked sausage links, sliced
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 large eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 cup cream style corn
3-4 green onions, chopped
2 c. grated hot pepper cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage and drain on paper towel. In a bowl, combine cornmeal, oil, eggs, sour cream, corn and onions. Mix well. Pour half of the batter in a greased skillet. Place sausage slices on top and sprinkle with half of the cheese. Pour remaining batter on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake in a 450º oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
