8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese ( softened)
1 pkg. taco seasoning

1- 8 oz. jar thick & chunky salsa ( medium heat) drained
1- 10.5 oz. can Rotel tomatoes with chiles, drained
1/2 c. chopped onions or 1 Tbsp. onion flakes

sliced jalapenas
red & green pepper slices (optional)
1 large bag tortilla chips

Directions:
In a medium sized bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese and 1/2 pkg. of taco seasoning. Mix well. Set aside. Next, pour into a bowl, salsa, tomatoes and onions. Mix well with spoon. In a serving dish, spread 1/2 of cheese mixture over bottom of dish covering from sides to sides. Pour on top of this, half of the salsa mixture. Cover with remaining cheese mixture covering the salsa completely. Garnish with red & green peppers and about 12-20 jalapenas. Serve with tortilla chips or scoops.

The remaining salsa dip can be used by itself for another dip.
