6 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 c. quick-cooking grits, uncooked
1 2/3 c. smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
3 T. butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Bring broth, milk, salt and pepper to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Gradually whisk in grits. Reduce heat and cover; simmer, stirring occasionally for about 5 minutes until thickened. Add cheese and butter; stir until melted. Serves 6-8
