2/3 cups butter
2 1/4 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
2 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Generously grease a 10 x 15 inch jelly roll pan.

Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and chocolate chips. Sift and add all dry ingredients. Add nuts if desired. Mix together. Spread evenly in prepared jelly roll pan.

Bake for NOT MORE THAN 25 MINUTES. When almost cool, cut into squares.
