6 cups water or broth
1 carrott - cut up
1 potato - peeled and diced
1 onion - peeled and diced
1 stalk celery - chopped
1 lb. dry lentils - washed
1 lb. hot dogs - Sliced into 1/4" slices
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a soup pot and bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer and cook for about 2 hrs.
This is really good the second day if you have any left.
