3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. soft shortening 2 t. baking powder 1 egg 1/2 t. salt 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. brown sugar 3 T. melted butter 2 t. cinnamon
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and milk. Stir in dry ingredients. Spread half in greased 9x9 pan. Mix struesel ingredients and spread half on batter in pan. Spread other half batter and top with remaining struesel. Bake at 375º for 30 min. (Grandpa Reuben's favorite.)
