4 c. flour
1 lb. butter
1 dash vanilla
8 T. sugar
1 c. crushed walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients - roll into balls. Bake at 350 until lightly brown. Roll into confectionary sugar immediately after removing from oven.

Recipe makes about 60 cookies

Like many of Mom's recipes, this one came with very few instructions! These were classic Christmas cookies growing up, and Carolyn and her family still enjoy them every year.
