1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
2 sticks butter, melted and cooled

Filling:
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 pound farmer or cottage cheese
1 pound cream cheese
juice of one lemon

Directions:
Directions:
To make the dough, mix first seven ingredients together, then add the melted butter and stir well. Pour half the dough batter into a greased 9"x12"x2" pan and spread thinly over the entire surface of the pan.

Mix well and spread over dough batter. Pour remaining batter carefully over filling. Bake one hour at 325º.

This can be successfully made the night before a brunch. Prepare the batter and filling; store in separate containers and refrigerate. The next morning assemble the souffle as directed and bake. If the batter is too thick to spread, then thin it out with a little milk.
