2 T. sugar
1 T. salt
2 T. fat
2-3 c. flour
1 c. scalded milk1 pkg. yeast in 1/4 c. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, salt and fat in large bowl. Add milk, cool until lukewarm. Add yeast and flour to make batter stiff to cling to bowl, but not stiff enough to be kneaded. Cover tightly and let rise in warm room until it has doubled in bulk. Turn out on floured board, invert so both sides are coated with flour. Roll with rolling pin. Shape in balls. Bake 15-20 min. at 400 to 425
