1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp.soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream or butter milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Nut Topping:
1/3 c. white sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. allspice, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, and butter. Add eggs and dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and vanilla. Pour half of batter in greased 9" x 13"
pan or 2 round pans. Mix together nut topping ingredients and put half on batter. Put rest of batter on top. Cover with remaining nut topping. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. This cake is delicious with strawberries or for quick snack cake.
