6 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
4 or 5 slices day-old bread, cubed
1 lb. sasuage, cooked, drained and crumbled
1 c. cheese, grated (I prefer sharp cheddar)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Place cubed bread in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish. Add layer of sausage, then egg mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before cooking sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I've tried them all and this recipe is the best. You can also make this with bacon or canadian bacon or a mix of all three. Just keep the meat to no more than 1 lb.

This is especially good for "company" breakfast. Serve with fruit and muffins.
