3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/8 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. quick oats

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingred. in lge bowl and mix well. Drop cookie dough on ungreased sheet and bake at 350
for 8 min. Remove from heat and spoon 1/2 t. cashew topping onto center of each cookie.

CASHEW TOPPING-
1/3 C. SUGAR, 1/4 C. BUTTER, 1 T. CORN SYRUP,1/3 C. CASHEWS
Combine sugar, butter, and corn syrup in saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add cashews, set aside.

After putting cashew topping on center of cookie, return to oven and bake another 6-8 min. or until golden brown. Cool slightly before removing from pan.
