3/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. dates
1/2 c. water

1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. milk
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt



Frosting:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter
1 square chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Cook brown sugar, dates, and water in saucepan. Then add chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. In a bowl, beat 2 eggs; add orange juice, milk, and chopped nuts. Add this to date mixture. Then add flour, soda, and salt. Put in 15" x 10" pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
To make frosting, put sugar, milk, butter, and chocolate square in another saucepan, and boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir until cool and is spreading consistency. Spread frosting on cake.
