1 c. sugar
2 well beaten eggs
2 c. sifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. margarine
3 sm bananas
1/4 t. salt
* & I add 2-3 T. applesauce--that's the secret for a moist loaf.

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
2. Add mashed bananas. & applesauce.
3. Add flour and baking soda and mix. Add nuts, mix.
4. Put in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hr (start checking it at 45 min). Makes one loaf.
