Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. rice
1 full package of bacon
3 green onions, chopped
1 egg, beaten slightly
garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Get rice cooking. (I rinse it, then add 4 cups of water to it and let it cook on low med. heat without the lid on, stirring occasionally, and then when it's nearly done I put the lid on until it's done.)
2. Fry the bacon, saving the excess fat. Break them up in pieces (your preference how big or small).
3. Now you're going to fry the rice in the same pan you fried the bacon in (or use your wok if you prefer and have one). Your preference how much of the bacon fat you want to use, but you want to make sure to use enough to get the rice coated well. I usually end up using at least 3/4 of it.
4. So I add the rice to the hot pan/skillet and mix it up real good to get it coated. Add the green onion, the bacon and give it a dose of garlic salt--shaking it all over it.
5. Then it's just a matter of waiting, stirring, adding more garlic salt. I usually do that routine about 3 times. After about 15 minutes it's probably done. Then just scoot the rice to make an opening to add the egg. You can let it cook a few seconds and then mix it all in real good. After a couple of minutes it's ready to eat.

Make sure you use garlic salt. Garlic powder just doesn't do it.
