Layer 1:
1 Devil's Food Cake Mix

Layer 2:
1 1/4 c. Milk
1 c. Granulated Sugar
2 1/2 T. Cornstarch
1 c. Vegetable Shortening
1/2 c. Margarine (1 stick)

Layer 3:
1/2 c. Margarine
1/4 c. Water
1 c. Chocolate Chips
1 1/2 c. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1st Layer:
Make cake as directed and bake in Jelly roll pan at 350º for 15 min.

2nd Layer:
Cook milk and cornstarch until thick. Cool. Cream remaining ingredients and add cooled milk mixture. Spread onto first layer.

3rd Layer:
Melt margarine and chocolate chips together. In a separate bowl, beat together powdered sugar, water and vanilla. Add chocolate mixture. Beat then pour over cake.
