9 cups flour
1/3 cup baking powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups shortening (Crisco)

Directions:
Directions:
Stir baking powder, salt, cream of tartar, and sugar into flour. Mix well. Cut in Crisco, with pastry blender until mixture is the consistency of corn meal. Store in covered container at room temperature.
