1 stick margarine (I use butter) 1/2 c. salad or vegetable oil 2 eggs 2 tbsp. Butavan flacoring 1 can blueberries in light syrup 4 1/2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 c. buttermilk 2 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda
Drain blueberries, saving juice. Mix oil and butter or margarine. Add sugar, eggs, flour, Butavan flavoring, baking soda and baking powder. Add buttermilk and the juice from blueberries. Grease muffin pans. Bake at 400º for 18 to 20 minutes.
