2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chicken broth
2 Tbsp. shortening
Chicken pieces (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat chicken broth. Melt the shortening in this hot broth. Blend in flour, salt, baking powder into the broth. Roll out rather thin on floured pastry cloth. Sprinkle flour on top. Cut into squares.
Boil water in a pan large enough to accommodate all these squares; cook slowly until tender. Add chicken pieces when done, if desired.

These may be put on floured cookie sheet and then frozen; place in plastic bag and keep frozen for later use when needed.
