1 small box vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 can pineapple bits, drained
1 small tub Cool-Whip
1 cup small marshmallows
1 package chocolate striped shortbread cookies broken in pieces

Mix buttermilk and pudding in large bowl
Add fruit and stir
Add Cool-Whip and stir
Add marshmallows and stir
Refrigerate until ready to serve
Stir in or top with cookies and serve
