1 medium can crushed pineapple 1 3 oz. pkg lemon jello 1/2 c. grated American cheese 1/2 c. chopped pimento 1/2 c. fine chopped celery 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. cool whip
Drain pineapple, reserving the syrup. Heat syrup to a boil. Add jello and mix until dissolved. Cool. when jello begins to thicken, add pineapple, cheese, celery, nuts and salt. Fold in whipped cream and mix well. Pour into mold and chill until firm.
