1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c, chopped nuts
1 c. apples, unpeeled, cut into small pieces
1 c. raisins
1/4 c. milk

Frosting:
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 - 2 tsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter, sugar and egg. In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Add flour mixture to butter and mix well. Stir in nuts, apples, raisins and milk.

Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly brown. While cookies bake, combine frosting ingredients. Frost cookies as soon as they are removed from oven.
