1 pkg. pound cake mix 1/2 c. melted butter or oleo 4 eggs 1 - 8 oz. cream cheese 3 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. pwd. sugar for dusting top of cooled cake 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake with melted oleo and 2 eggs. Beat well, and put into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Beat cream cheese, 2 eggs, vanilla, and 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Pour over cake batter. Sprinkle with chopped nuts (optional). Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Allow cake to cool and then "dust" with the last 1/4 cup of powdered sugar.
