1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2/3 c cracker crumbs
1/3 c minced onion
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt optional
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 c milk
1tsp shortening
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 c brown sugar packed
2 cans 13 1/2oz pineapple tidbits in heavy syrup/separate tidbits from syrup keep syrup separate bowl
1/3 c vingar
1tbsp soy sauce
1/3 c chopped g.pepper

Directions:
Directions:
mix ground beef,crumbs,onion,egg,salt,ginger & milk. shape into meatballs,brown and cook in shortening. remove keep warm.

In separate pan mix cornstarch & sugar Stir in pineapple syrup,vingar & soy sauce cook over med heat stirring constantly to prevent sticking cook until thickens & boils. Boil & stir 1 minute, add meatballs,pineapple tidbits & green peppers
