2 1/4 cups flour
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (12 ounce) bottle Alaskan amber beer

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together in a bowl, the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
2. Add 12 ounces Alaskan Amber Beer*.
3. Mix until evenly moistened.
4. Bake in oiled loaf pan at 400°F for about 45 minutes.
5. Invert onto rack and remove pan.
6. Serve with butter& honey.

Substitute any type of flavorful beer. My favorite is to use pumpkin or apricot flavored beer. The beer acts as yeast in this recipe. It's very quick to put together and bakes up so moist with a chewy crust. Easy to double the recipe as well.
