1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a flat pan (large enough to fit a piece of bread). Dip bread in mixture, covering both sides. Brown both sides in hot griddle/frying pan.

Fresh bread falls apart when moistened, so work carefully or use day-old bread. Excellent with Friberg Farms syrup or strawberry jam.
