1/2 c. butter
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
4 cans chicken broth
1 lb. Velveeta, cut into cubes
2 c. milk
1 Tbs. garlic powder
2/3 c. cornstarch
1 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
In soup pot, melt butter over medim heat. Cook onion in butter until softened. Stir in broccoli and chicken broth; simmer 10-15 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Reduce heat, stir in cubes of Velveeta. Mix in milk and garlic powder. In small bowl, combine cornstarch into water until dissolved. Pour into soup and cook, stirring frequently, until thick.
