1 unsliced loaf french bread
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup green onions
1 cup sour cream
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp garlic butter
Butter or margarine, softened
2 tomatoes, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced in rings
1 cup grated cheese

Cut the loaf in half lengthwise; wrap in foil. Heat at 375º F for 10-15 minutes. In skillet cook beef with onion until meat is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in sour cream, next three ingredients, and 3/4 tsp salt. Heat BUT DO NOT BOIL. Butter the cut surface of bread. Spread half of hot mixture on each loaf half. Arrange tomato slices alternately with green pepper rings atop mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 5 minutes.
