3 cup diced rhubarb
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs, separated

Sauce:

1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rhubarb and 1/2 cup sugar. Place in 8-inch well oiled molds. Sift flour, measure and sift with baking powder and salt. Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Add well-beaten egg yolks. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour over rhubarb. Steam 20 minutes. Sauce: Combine all ingredients listed. Cook over hot water until smooth and well flavored. Serve with rhubarb puff.
