3 c flour
2 c sugar
6 T cocoa
2 t baking soda
1 t salt

Sift above ingredients together. Put in 13X9 pan. Add 10 T oil, 2 T vinegar, 2 t vanilla and 2 c water. Mix all with a fork. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350.
Meanwhile, cook 8 T butter and 1 1/2 c brown sugar over low heat. Add 4 T cream or milk. Add 1 1/2 c coconut and 1/2 c nuts. Spread over cake and bake 5 minutes longer.
