2 T cornstarch, 2 T flour, 2 T butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs separated, 1 tsp vanilla, 3/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix togethter in double boiler the cornstarch, flour, butter and brown sugar. Add well beaten egg yolks. Gradually add diluted milk, stirring constantly until smooth & thick. Add vanilla and pour into baked pie shell. Whip egg whites until stiff. Add 4 T sugar and spread over pie. Place slow in oven, bake at 300 º for 15 minutes.
