2 cans tomato paste (5 if large dinner)
1 lb ground meat
3 T oil
3 cans water (5-6 if large dinner)
2 T sugar
salt
pepper
2 T oregano
garlic powder
2-3 bay leaves
fresh chopped mushrooms
parmesan or romano cheese
1 T white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in oil, add fresh chopped onion. After saute, drain excess oil and add tomato paste and water. Then add sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, bay leaves, mushrooms. Simmer uncovered for 30-40 minutes. Just before serving add parmesan-romano cheese. Add white wine and heat through.

Cook spaghetti noodles according to pkg directions + 1 T oil. Drain noodles and rinse in cold water briefly. Add a dab of butter before serving. Top with sauce. Serve with real parmesan cheese, salad and french bread, sliced and buttered.
