3/4 c. dates, chopped and pitted
1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
1/2 c. currants or raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/3 c. rose wine or apple juice
1 16 oz. wheel of brie, chilled
baguette, sliced thin

Preheat oven to 350º. Combine the first 6 ingredients and let stand for 2 hours. Meanwhile, slice brie in half horizontally. Place the bottom half, cut side up, and top with 2 1/2 cups of the fruit mixture. Cover with the top half of the brie, and spoon the remaining fruit mixture on top center of brie. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve with thin baguette slices.
