1 squirrel or rabbit, cut into pieces
Sufficient oil to brown meat
1/2 cup flour
Salt and pepper
3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge meat with flour, place in skillet, season with salt and pepper then brown in hot oil. When meat is sufficiently browned place in crock pot, with water and cook on high. Cooking time is approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. Use the drippings from the browning process and the liquid in the crock pot after the meat is removed to make gravy

A couple of cautions: Just brown enough to add flavor. Don't use more water than necessary as you don't want to boil the meat.
