1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. lard
1 tsp. soda (dissovled in a little vinegar)
2 tsp. baking powder
4-5 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 raisins, cooked (see personal note)
pinch of salt

Mix and roll out, and cut into circles. Put cooked, thickened raisins between two cut out sections and seal as in a pie crust. Cut two slits on top and bake at 350º. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Personal Notes:
By cooked, thickened raisins, I use about 1 c. water to 1 1/2 c. raisins and 3/4 c. sugar. Cook until it makes a thick paste, sort of like jam.
