1 c. and 3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. and 1 c. water
1 c. white syrup
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
2 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 1 c. white sugar and 1/2 cup water until it spins a thread. Pour over 2 siffly beaten whites.

Meanwhile, mix 3 c. sugar, 1 c. white syrup, and 1 c. water.

Boil the first mixture until it forms a hard ball. Then add the second mixture and beat. Add 2 1/2 c. chopped nuts.

Pour into butter tins and cool. Cut into squares.
