1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
¾ cup cracker crumbs
½ cup finely chopped onion
2 cans Hunts tomato sauce (7 ½ oz)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp pepper
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ground beef, egg, crumbs, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce and seasonings; mix well. Shape into flat rectangle (10” x 12”) on waxed paper. Sprinkle on cheese leaving a 1” margin all around.

Roll like jelly roll; press ends to seal. Bake in shallow baking dish at 350º F for 1 hour. Remove excess fat. Pour on remaining Hunt’s tomato sauce and bake an additional 15 minutes.
