1 cup butter - NO SUBSTITUTES
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream tartar
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped or sliced almonds
1 package (6 ounce) English toffee bits

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Add oil, eggs, almond eXtract and mix well. Combine flour, soda, cream tartar, and salt and add to creamed mixture. Stir in almonds and toffee bits. Shape into I inch balls and roll in sugar. Flatten with a fork on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly brown.
