2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tbsp grated orange rind
1 egg well beaten
1/2 cup chopped cranberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients, add shortening til it looks like cornmeal. Combine orange juice rind and egg. Pour into dry mixture until damp. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Bake 350 for 1 hour.
