1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
2 EGGS
1 TABLESPOON GRATED ORANGE PEEL
2 TEASPOONS GRATED LEMON PEEL
2 1/2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
1/4 TEASPOON GROUND NUTMEG
1 PACKAGE (12 OUNCE) DOLE RAISINS
1 PACKAGE (8 OUNCE) DOLE CHOPPED DATES

BEAT MARGARINE AND SUGARS UNTIL FLUFFY. BEAT
IN EGGS, ORANGE AND LEMON PEEL.. COMBINE
FLOUR, BAKING SODA, CINNAMON AND NUTMEG..
BEAT INTO MARGARINE MIXTURE UNTIL BLENDED.
STIR IN RAISINS AND DATES. DROP BY HEAPING
TABLESPOONFUL ONTO GREASED COOKIE SHEETS.
SPREAD SLIGHTLY WITH BACK OF SPOON OR FORK.
BAKE AT 375 FOR 10 TO 13 MINUTES. COOL ON WIRE
