1/2 cup butter, creamed
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 - 1 cup nutmeats, optional
1/4 cup maraschino cherries, optional

Mix in order given. Put in greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.
