3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sigar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1 tsp ginger
2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and divide into about 6 parts. Roll each part into long roll. Place 3 on cookie sheet and flatten out with fork. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 12 minutes at 375 Cut diagonally while warm. repeat.
