3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
grated rind and juice of 1 orange
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla

2 tbsp butter
2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/4 cup orange juice

Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes.
