1 - 8 OUNCE BOX DATES,CHOPPED
2 CUPS BOILING WATER
1 TSP BAKING SODA
1 1/4 CUP SUGAR
2 T. BUTTER
2 EGGS
4 CUPS FLOUR
2 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 TSP SALT
1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over chopped dates and soda. Let cool. Mix sugar, butter, and eggs. Add date mixture to sugar mixture. Stir in dry ingredients and walnuts. Pour in to greased bread pans and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
